I cannot disappoint or double cross Trixie

If I had to name the day of the week that I do not write
I would have to lie because there isn’t one
My muse Trixie is pushy, persistent and insistent.
She does not let me rest until I write ten poems a day.
If I tried to double cross her or not meet her deadline for us
there might not be any more words.
No more sentences.
No more poems.
I dare not take that chance.
