I Bow Before You
Dear Father,
I humbly ask to come before Your throne.
My life, my heart, is not worthy.
My life in shame, I lay before You.
My sins are numerous and my failures are many.
Cleans me Father, that I may bow before You.
My thoughts wander from Your truth.
When in haste my tongue speaks harshly,
When in haste my mind fills with frustration.
I cannot blame the rush of the world around me,
I cannot blame mine enemies.
I can only blame myself,
I blame my lack of faith to trust You.
I know we all have sinned,
We all have fallen short of Your glory.
You gave Your life for mine,
Your blood you shed for me,
That my failures be forgiven.
I know I must atone for my sins,
That I must seek Your salvation.
I know that I must try, to make my heart more like You.
Father, I come before You,
I ask for Your forgiveness.
Create in me a clean heart.
Wash me whiter than snow.
Make me and mold me,
That my light may shine for the world to see.
Make me Your servant, Lord.
As a woman of God, help me to do Your will.
I love You Father
~AMEN~
