I Bleed These Words

Scarlet swirls of wounded thoughts tainting parchment,
A thousand expressions looking back without turning.
Emotions oozing from that dull pain I wish would end;
My eyes sometimes write for me in red rolling circles.

As visions course through veins still flowing with life,
Flashing needles draw them out to preserve them forever.
My quill never flinches as burgundy ink memories emerge;
I've sweat ruby bullets as they've danced from my mind.
