I Bled For Love

I bled for love on Thursday the twenty third
When the down feeling made itself heard
Quietly creeping under my skin
It's presence came as a shock from within

On Friday I sort help and reached out
Not knowing what this confusing feeling was about
Down in a hole, it shook me to the core
I bled for a love so wildly pure

I spoke it out and started to heal
The emotions inside I could no longer conceal
I spoke it out another few times more
In order to help overcome this inner self war

Hopelessness faded and light started to show
It's time to say good bye to sadness and sorrow
I bled for a true love like no other
And now it is time to fully recover
