I Blame You For My Success

I blame you for my success I have looked back Seen you Breathing on my neck Pushing me Sometimes throwing me On the deep end of things When I successfully failed To follow your words You cornered me again Attacked me with ideas Over and over I have seen your fingerprints Where I progressed. With that the steel was tempered I blame you for my success If I find you today I must kill you with gifts Where are you? You, a soaring eagle Undoubted master of the sky Spied on me from where you fly Shooting from the morning sun Landed at dawn and dropped a line I saw a falcon said you And here I am, the falcon But where are you? I must kill you with gifts I am flying across the highs On which cloud are you?
