I Believe In Myself
I believe in myself

I believe in myself enough to know
that, all
of my dreams, can become a reality.
But I am not Robert Frost,
nor am I
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow,
or even William Butler Yeats.
And I may never be,
as
talented, as they can be.
Because they were truly,
some of
the worlds, greatest poets.
And I accept that,
with respect, and
honor and dignity.
But I will aspire to be,
the best poet,
that I can possibly be.
For I am just one of many,
That will do what ever it takes,
to
reach the highest mountain tops.
And I will continue to dream upon
a dream, and I will set my goals higher,
so that I may touch the stars some day
Because I believe that the
impossible can be achieved
when it comes
to, the desires of our hearts
And if and when my life comes to
its fateful end, which it will some
day,
I will gladly step aside gracefully,
with a smile on my face, because I
did strive to be,
the best poet that I could possibly be
Because I believed enough in myself.
to know that,
all of my dreams, can become a reality.
( I think that Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s words permeate through my mind from one of
his poems that he had written when he said ”Let us, then, be up and doing ,With a heart
for any fate;
Still achieving, still pursuing, Learn to labor and to wait” )
