I Believe In Aliens and They Have No Poems

I believe in Aliens, and they have no poems

not like us
instead they sit far from the fire
that warmth we huddle around
and they dance
Aliens have dance
but not poems
small words we burn for warmth
that is beauty
and the Aliens are cold
cold beings
who cannot feel warmth
who for beauty is absent
like the tree to fallen fruit.

I believe in Aliens.
They have no poems,
and are but fallen fruit.
Without poems
where will they land?
