I Believe I Can Fly

I believe I can fly
With an eagle’s grace,
Soaring across the sky
Searching for my place.

I have learned to fly
With hope in my heart,
Silent as a sigh
My words are my art.

I soar as I fly
With dreams to see,
No tears will I cry
To be only me.

I follow as I fly
With compassion as my lead,
If I only try
I will always succeed.

I sing as I fly
With faith as my song,
I only ask why
When my day starts out wrong.

I believe I can fly
With only trust as my guide,
The strength in my wings
Carries God by my side.

James Fraser August 3, 2009 at 11:39 AM Reading Michaels comments a few poems back, you should really look into publishing a book on the poems, they will light up many a life, as they are filled with out and out joys. Your one talented lady, if i may say so>>James
