I Believe

I Believe

Some say why do you believe
Well because he dwells in thee
And he opened my eyes to see
Giving my soul and mind peace
So that I may resist the beast
He teaches me what to say
While I turn to him and pray
As I try and become like him each day
He walks by my side
While I listen openly for him to guide
Some might say it is shame
But I hear him calling thy name

It is a common question asked even by fellow christians as to why one believes; but still, only you can understand and strongly answer the why not of it basing on your knowledge of God and acknowledgement of what he has done for you. Thank you for this beautiful piece

Indeed my friend this one is an old one like 22 years ago, when I began to write to get that closeness and understanding of what God had placed within me , not many understand, I have found few , like the stars in the sky , May God bless, comfort, guide and fill you with His peace, love and joy in abundance: )

My son once asked me why I believe and how I know. I tired to explain if you open your heart and mind you will feel him inside. You will know when you have found him. I believe. Amen. God Bless Phyl
