I Believe
Can you believe that I am not afraid
when sentiments are none but what is feared.
For Christmas presents wrapped have still appeared,
and all the debt life needed has been paid.
If only my deep thoughts could be conveyed...
I may have been the one who interfered
with passionate remains that pioneered;
but I have seen the green the world has made.
My walls are lined with all the laughter worn,
the film I used became what joy could be.
I live a life in empty fields of thirst,
black rooms with withered photos lost and torn
and seeing all the waste of life’s debris;
believing in a world where peace comes first.
