I Beleive

I saw her... Standing there.... Blinded by her own lies... She uttered words that
destroyed my pride... I stood there... Eyes filled with crocodile tears as I held back my
retaliation.... I believed her when she told me false facts... Fed me foolishness... And
all I did was get greedy.... It hit me hard and I buckled under the realization that she
didn't care... Her tone became unfamiliar... As well as her body gestures restructured to
her attitude.... Rage... I never believed she had it in her... That we would be happy
forever.... But... Forever came fast... I shut down and her blows kept coming furiously...
I gave in... And she felt it... Never have I lost myself over love... And this was my
first... Lash after lash... We battled... Word for word... The pain just kept getting
worse.... I always believed we would keep each other uplifted... And yet our walls are
coming down... And we are the ones to blame... What did you believe in... Why did you
believe it... Because I believe... Our love shall rest in peace...
