I Am Your Son

I am your son Why don’t you see me? I am your son Know God said love reigns? You can put me in a dress, Wrap me up in femininity But I am still your son And if you think that you know Better, I ask you honestly To consider why you have such defense Against truth, my intuition And I know that you crave understanding But I am just as thrown That you would rather have a Despondent Daughter Than a change and happy Son
