I Am You

Do we not delight in
The same stars?
Shoot arrows aiming to
The same moon?
And find light and warmth
From the same sun?

Do our souls not move
At the humming music?
Does our skin not laugh
When caressed by roses?
Or our hair buzz around
When air brushed through it?

I am you, you are me
The only difference, the
Mask we are wearing
Like faces of a masquerade,
I am you
You are me.

Wonderful and truthful poem dear friend, Kudzai! A beautiful message! Many poems I have written along the same lines! Three of them , just today! Superb!
