I Am Wondering

Laying on my bed
Staring at my ceiling
And thinking of you,
I am wondering.
Where are you?
Are you safe?
What are you wondering?
Are you thinking about me, too?
Curled up in my cozy little chair
Staring off into space
And thinking of you,
I am wondering.
What do you dream about?
Do you love me?
What is your heart saying now, at this moment?
Do you wish we could be together forever?
Sitting on my driveway
Looking up at the stars
And thinking of you,
I am wondering.
Through all the questions 
Swimming around in my head
I realize
That I do
My best thinking at night,
Thinking of you,
And wondering.
