I Am There In the Tides of Time

Of late I feel like a sandbar, in the proverbial river of life. Pushed and pulled by the flow, reshaped by friction and strife. No real place I feel at home. Not really anchored , yet not adrift. No adornment and no beauty, Get close and you'll find I've got grit. Somtimes I rise above life to stand, catching some folks unaware. I'm usually just below the surface, over run by life and dispair.
