I Am the Storm Within

I'm the thunder that makes you tremble
And the rain upon your cheeks
When the storm rides upon you
As the air boils and simmers
Puddles turn to lakes
And spears of lightening thrown down
Miss you with only your singed hair
To tell you
(Soaked)
You're alive.
Know that I've caressed you
Loved you
Held you
Raged against you...
It is only because you've held your ground
That the storm yields within my soul
And that I will adorn you
My thunderclouds, your crown
My crystalline snow sparkles as your jewelled cloak
And my heart, your rainbow.
