I Am the Sand

I am the sand;
you are the ocean.
Your waves wash over me whenever it rains.
I am the sand;
you are the seeds.
Your love blossoms within my soul.
I am the sand;
you are the bricks.
You build this home, my sweet haven.
I am the sand;
You are the playground.
Your children will flourish before our eyes.
I am the sand;
you are the footprints.
Your gentle arms carried me whenever I fell.
I am the sand;
you are the rock.
You've granted salvation for all to be free.
I am the sand;
You are the castle.
Your home will be mine in the years to come.
