I Am the Moon

I am 
                                                              the moon.
                                                               I bring the light
                                                                into the dark, cold 
                                                                 night. I am always 
                                                                  there to guide 
                                                                   you when you get lost.
                                                                    I might be miles away, 
                                                                   but I'll always seem close 
                                                                  to home. And during
                                                                 the day, I sit in the 
                                                                shadows waiting
                                                               for night to 
                                                              come 
                                                             again.
