I Am That I Am
I am that I am still the core,
A quiet truth inside the night,
I rise above the fading roar,
And hold a pure and steady light.
Through shifting shadows on the floor,
I am that I am still the core,
A silent promise to restore,
The heavy burdens we ignore.
Beneath the heavy ocean floor,
Where distant waters softly pour,
I am that I am still the core,
An ancient grace forevermore.
Beyond the distant myth and lore,
Where time and space can charm no more,
And earthly tides forget to soar,
I am that I am still the core.
