I Am Sold

Whenever we meet
I get the same Greet
Delighted with this treat
I always called you sweet.

For years I know You
Loving it this way, I grew.
You liking me, I have no clue
But I stick to you like glue.

When you said, I look great
Proudness was in my  gait;
You say, I am now in a poor state,
I walk out all  agitate.

Hoping to see me all new
I come again to you for a closer view
Finding what I see hard to chew
My mind really blew.

Looking out for a peaceful place
I think on this at my own  pace;
Every Life’s’ phase has beauty in it to embrace
Making Life, a journey of Growth in Grace.

Aging I now see as matter getting old
Young at mind & heart is what I behold;
My mirror now has lost its stranglehold,
Giving way to my young mind & heart I am sold.
