I Am Poem

I am hard and hearty
I wonder about man’s destiny
I hear the muse inspiring sigh
I see floating angels in the sky
I want to speak loud my heart
I am hard and hearty.

I pretend I am a queen
I feel charmed in an angelic scene
I touch the star’s twinkling face
I worry about the dark side of human race
I cry for the aches in every single heart
I am hard and hearty.

I understand man’s craving for life with meaning
I say living is giving
I dream of sharing the light and beauty of mankind
I try to make sense of every single say
I hope wings of soul soar high day after day
I am hard and hearty
I am Poem.

It can be tricky making a poem right length for reader to get full grasp of what poet is saying. Excellent.
