I Am Not of This World

I am in this world.
But,
I am not of this world.
I was not born here.
I was born among the stars.
My heart was a galaxy
Threaded with stars
And kissed by eternal
Silence.
My mind is a void of endless
Black.
A whirlwind of wonders
Mixed with a chill,
Never to be forgotten.
My soul, dressed in the
Elegant blues, reds and purples
Of the universe.
My body corrupted by
The city lights.
An implosion of restless noise.
I am in this world.
But,
I am not of this world.
