I Am Me
The way I love my girl, how we just relax and hang out,
How her and I make a perfect “we”.
She turns me on, I love she accepts what I am,
Because, at the end of each day, I am me.
The way I talk, my attitude, ethics and morals,
How I think fair is important, it’s all my personality.
I think people should be cared for and loved, then,
When I look in the mirror, I see that I am me.
I own my aspirations for success, redefining what that is,
I own my habit, my lifetime hobby.
To own our own achievements, our growing self is important,
I own mine knowing that I am me.
It’s important for me to dress unique, to mark that I am proud,
That my will and desire is free.
Because I want folks to know the things I value and rate are
Important and folks know that I am me.
