I Am Me
I'm a cool calm woman
I get my strength from within
I thrive on others laughter
and begun my search before I was here
I'm a down to earth sista
and I make no place for games
I play hooky with ignorance
and bring my people no shame
I'm a ranger to mother earth
and a teacher to all man kind
better yet I'm the smooth taste to red red wine
I'm more healthier than most
and much wiser than plenty
I have no problem with the end
but would rather the beginning
I'm a force of nature
I recken to be dealt with
I'm a hunger to your mind
and the fullness of your belly
I'm 100% human
I'm expected to be a failure
I kiss the wind with my thoughts
and I walk my heart
I don't pretend to understand
Because knowledge was always around
I look with my fingers
and I listen with my eyes
as I walk along these grounds
I feel trembles with my ears
and I'm loved because I'm kind
I'm a piece to a puzzle thats already in place
I have never been broken
many have tried, but have failed along the way
I'm a dictionary more like a thesaurus
I always have meaning to all my tomorrows
I'm never thinking of just myself
but others as well
I know it's a tough world
I really need no one to tell
I'll never walk the roads alone
For I have many that do care
My head will always be held high
because I'm a blessing upon a blessing
I understand the purpose of an outcome
and fail to reject who I am
For I am me, I am me, I am me
