I Am Just a Tear

by Ellen Fahey

I'm trying so hard to hide in here,
but, her emotions won't release me.
Why does she fear?
I am just a tear.
Liquid feeling
made for healing.

If she'd just let me loose,
her pain I could ease.
But, here I am
I'm locked inside,
Lord, won't you help her, please?

Help her to see that it's okay
to feel what she feels.
Let me fall from her eyes,
and caress her tender cheek,
for it will be in my release
that she will hear you speak.

For I am nothing to fear.
I am just a tear.
Liquid feeling
made for healing.

This is the second time that I've read this one Ellen. And it's still very good. Insightful. Heartfelt. Creative. Just very, very good and well written. Rockman

Very nice Ellen. You're quite good with your rhyme. If you'd like that tear to be released, try my poem "Two Little Boxes". Be sure to start with part 1 and keep a tissue handy. Thanks for reading and writing. Keep up the great work.

sometimes I wonder why I don't cry as everyone else does? After reading your poetry I know I am not holding anything inside. Maybe we all have degrees of hurt and maybe I have never been hurt, dunno! But thank you...very well said...

Smile, *^_^* A beautifully flowing crystals tear of lovelies poetic verse, my dear. = Tis so much truth in that releasing ones emotional moments can be but the prelude in part, leading one unto renewed hope amid another day. == I believe that poetry can be likened unto this pretty tear; in that it too, is a release towards blessing given a priceless and beautiful heart. ~ And, I can see a very beautiful light; far from a tear; "Gifted & 'Beautiful You;' Muy Magnifico." === love always, jasper

When we release tears, much of the pain that caused them is releaed as well, Ellen. This is eloquently written. I especially love those last two lines: "Liquid feeling made for healing." How true! Best wishes in HG's contest! Love, Carolyn
