I am just a boy
I can be old and wise
Nothing much will take my surprise
But deep inside
I am just a boy
He's never grown with me
He's still there wanting to be free
His memories shattered
Then I remember
I am just a boy
I've lived through much
Laughter, fights, heartbreak and such
I have Children of my own now
And they remind me how
I am just a boy
One day he will be free
One day he'll look at me
We will share our thanks
Then I'll remember
The boy I used to be
