I Am Here To Live
I am here to live
To step out into the world and see
And to breath the air of opportunity
To taste the salt of the earth
I will dance and be free
I shall step willingly into the footsteps of those before me
And happily know the tears they cried
My blood will be drawn
And I relish the pain of being human
I will sing
And shout
And laugh
And hurt
But this simply makes me all the happier
For it is a sure sign that I live
