I Am Here

I AM HERE
By JANE Kostman

I am here
I am here
Standing in the darkness
Searching for the light
Oh and I hear so many voices,
Voices that make my heart tell me
Not all of them are right.
Remembering that jesus said
“ pick up your cross and follow me”.
But my pride made me to blind to see
All the wonderful things he was doing for me
And I had problems when it came to swallow
Swallow all the control and anger
That seemed to leave me empty and dry.
Oh I am here
I AM HERE
WONDERING IF YOU SEE ME STANDING IN THE DARKNESS TRYING TO
HIDE, HIDE WITH ALL THE SIN I HAVE HIDE WITHIN FROM, THE LIGHT,
And is it true if I pray to you will you take this
Anger so I can follow you.

Oh I am here I am here
I know it is true that you do
Take away things that are not supposed to be in our heart and mind and I know you found me
And saved my life.
Now I choose to follow out of the darkness in to light
Passing from death to life.
