I Am Getting Burned No More
You said taking care of me
Is a promise I will see
Now and always til the end
This message you didn't send
To your brain or heart at all
All you do is let me fall
Over and over till I crash
You don't care and always dash
Fast and far away you flee
Leaving me in misery
It's like a button on repeat
When things get rough you just retreat
To handle it on my own
There is no love to be shown
The truth is you just tell lies
And all kinds of alibis
For the reason you just run
When my life comes all undone
So I'm giving back your promise
Take it and leave--I don't want it
Get out and do not return
I am sick of getting burned
