I Am Free

I am free

I am free

I am not free

All I asked was for you to leave,
for you to be gone out of my life
and know all I can think about is how much I miss you.

I miss talking to you,
I miss being with you,
I miss being the one to make you smile everyday,
But I'm so afraid of you.

I can't even look at you,
or even bare to hear your name
before I tremble with fear,
Before I shake and I freeze.

That was the reason I pushed you away.
I told you I hate you but really I don't.
I was trying to protect you from thinking it was all your fault.
Even if it was I couldn't tell you that.
You act so tough and so strong
Yet all I have to do is not be there for one day and you're falling apart right in front of me.

One day I hope you'll understand,
what it's like to be on the receiving end of you love.

I promise one day I will tell you, how I really feel.
I promise one someone will tell you, they feel the same way towards you.

I am free

I am not free

You are free

You are free,
from me.
