I am free like the graceful hawk Bobbing and swaying effortlessly in the sky I am relaxed like a mountain Firmly rooted and embracing the spreading earth I’m happy like a playful child Jumping carefree on big rocks beside the river I’m blissful in my fountain heart Joy endlessly bubbling up from that natural spring The hawk has perfect awareness For destroying it’s well hidden and tricky prey The mountain is the solid ground Unaffected by fleeting forms that come and go The child is the intrinsic joy That arises recognizing inherent truth The heart is the source of being Primordially faultless and unchanged by life
