I Am Everywhere I Go
All I wanted was to go far away
To experience life in my own unique way
Not bothered by the pain of of what other's say
Me myself and I, Is who I'd portray
No forced coversations or need to pretend
In crowds of strangers, I’d easily blend
I could forget all about what happened, “back when”
And have a blank canvas. I’d begin again
But before long I had a jarring epiphany
What sounded so good, couldn’t actually be
Because despite the space I put between
I couldn’t escape myself. I would always be me
