I Am Done Trying

I hear mommy crying I swear i die when i hear her cry She tells me everything is okay but i know she is lying Ahe tells me grandmas dying And i start crying All i can say is i am done trying !

Hi Akira, This reminded me of when my grandmother died. All of us kids were put to working in the garden, cleaning the barn and seeing to the animals, and fixing the yard for the big dinner held after the wake. I was kept so busy that I had little time to weep. When the funeral did come, I did enough crying to fill a lake. Enjoyed your poem!
