I am busy today
I had lots of plans
I will do this and that
I will do the other and another
Full energy ahead, like my mother
but here I sit
for the third month of retirement
doing nothing
paying no attention to the drone of the TV
no energy at all
a slug since I became work free
my friends call
they want to see me
not today I say
I am busy today
busy doing nothing
