I Am Born

I am possessed with fear but fear refuses to guide me. Or I do not listen. which voice is it speaking in? which language. which colour? or direction. or tormenting plunge, pull, and squeeze. compression to the point where the train will collide with inevitability. a ghost will face annihilation for the newborn. love escapes the blackhole and asks us to stay. a gong casts off your shadow, destroys the steps through the valley and eyes cast on distant mountains. there was that moment. fear did guide me there. love brought me here.

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
