I Am Blessed To Be Born a Girl
I am blessed to born a girl
Fortunate to be a daughter to parents who love me
A proud sister who has a brother to protect her,
I will not restrict myself to four walls of the house
Neither did I see my mother let responsibilities of life stop her
Earned her degree and got a good job
Saved to purchase things she desired
Cook for her family, do the household chores
She took every step, with faith in God
With self confidence, courage and determination she still moves ahead
Like my father in times of trouble, protect and support my household
Pay for my children’s education
Work hard and give them a better future
Set a good example for them to follow
Like my brother, get higher quality education
Uphold family name in the society
Get driving licence, learn to play guitar
I am happy to have parents who trust me
Gave me freedom to pursue my dreams
Courage to stand up for myself
