I Am Blessed
Another year speeds by
The calendar is unforgiving
Time marches on
As I try to go on living
It won’t be easy
But I have friends
I can count on
So many friends,
Unknown until now
True friends come through
When I need them most
They say that to have a friend
You must first be a friend
I wonder if I qualify?
