I Am a Whisper...

I am a whisper even when I'm shouting.
I am a ballroom when it's disco lights are shining.
A treehouse full of cobwebs-
I'm the spider who is hiding.
A fallen independence-
I'm the fire that's subsiding.

A passion wind blown through an empty hallway.
A train passed by an owl noonday.
This blur... "Is everything ok?"
I nod and bow to head pray.

I'm the oval in your office-
The patent pending process-
The buy me a nice dinner
and I'll tell you what advice is.

I'm the filter not for coffee-
I'm the trance in never-ending,
as the push to pull decision
bends your will in two directions.

A value-lit summer afternoon
and fallen craters from the moon
all on my brow and even now
I love you. Love me. See me soon...
