I AM A VAMPIRE ROSE
I am a vampire rose, a flower that learned to grow in places where nothing was supposed to survive.
I was not born with thorns.
Life gave them to me.
Every disappointment, every heartbreak, every time I had to wipe my own tears
and pretending I was okay left a mark on my petals
People see the darkness around me and wonder why I keep my distance
They don’t see the nights I spent fighting battles no one knew I was carrying
They don’t know how many times I had to put myself back together when nobody noticed I was falling apart
I have loved deeply. Maybe too deeply
I have given pieces of myself away to people who never understoodhow precious those pieces were.
But I am still here I am not the same rose I used to be
I no longer bloom just to be admired.
I bloom because I finally learnt that my own light matters too.
Yes, I drink from the shadows.
I know loneliness. I know grief.
I know what it feels like to carry a heavy heart and still show kindness to the world.
But there is something beautiful about a flower surviving in the night
My scars are not something that I hide
They are proof that I endured many storms that were meant to destroy meI am a vampire rose
not because I belong to the darkness, but because I have learned how to find beauty there
I am soft, but I am strong ,I am wounded, but I am healing.
I am different, yet worthy of love.
And one day, when someone sees me fully
they will understand was never a rose that needed saving
I was a rose that was learning how to save herself
