I Am a Poet

I am a poet.

One so naïve,
Throwing away all life's imperfections,
And joining all its little joyful moments,
To form a pleasant, harmonious, painting,
A beautiful bold lie…

I am a poet.

One so upset,
Longing for love,
Longing for the melody of innocence,
That plays in her mind as she reminisces,
Days where she'd call her father at work,
And sing to him…

I am a poet.

One so arrogant,
Surrounding herself with four walls,
Four strong walls, forming a poetic world,
Full of rivers of gold, that came from,
Waterfalls of freedom made just for her…

I am a poet.

One so flawless,
Shifting from,
World to world,
Place to place,
Identity to identity,
Catch me if you can...

I am a poet.

One so divine…
One so heavenly…
One so invincible...
One capable of, anything…
And EVERYTHING…
