I Am A Mountain

Pinnacle
perfect creation~
poets write
odes to me;
artists strive to capture the
pure essence of me.

I am felt
by work-worn masses
who have lain
in the shade
of me, trembling at the sheer
weight of my godhood.

None dare tempt
the eons-long stone 
strength of me,
faith in me,
lest I erupt in anger~
Destroyer of Worlds!
