I Am a Magician

A spanking new fourth grade boy in
the most rigid fourth-grade teacher’s class
introduced himself in this way
“I am a magician. I hypnotize my parents nightly.
They do what I want, when I want, per my instructions.”
Two girls giggled.
“You will be turned into frogs later,” he assured them.
The teacher started to say something but it came out as a croak.

Wow, your magician made me smile that happens not too often. It's a magic! Very, very nice, Caren.

This is GREAT! So funny. Why there are no comments I can't figure. Poets must be getting jealous! :) gw

I think they are rather busy. I am shockingly busy myself, getting ready for company Thursday, Friday, Saturday and half of Sunday. Have to go! I barely have time to post my poems, and may run out of that as 10 grandchildren will be here!
