I am a Dangerous Dream

They dream of love that will never let go,
the kind that remains when everything breaks apart.
A steady fire - a flame aglow,
one that warms the icy heart.

I am this kind of love they wish to find,
not half-hearted, not careful, not small.
I don’t know how to leave parts behind,
when I love, I give my all.

They call it beautiful - this pure, gentle song -
the depth, the devotion, the way it feels so right.
But they step back once it grows too strong,
when forever starts feeling too bright.

I don’t love gently—I leave a mark behind,
it sinks in deeper than most expect.
What starts as warmth can blur the line,
between being held and being possessed.

I am a dangerous dream they want to hold,
until they feel how deeply I arrive.
The way I adore can turn too bold -
love like mine is too much to survive.

Quite a dangerous dream. It begins softly but soon becomes dangerous. I don't love gently - such a manifestation of inner expressive dream. Best for a high placement.
