I Am

I am, this dark cave, under so many eyes and lips

A secret some want to outcast and burn, under stones

Mysterious I am, black sheep only I see, under this waterfall of strength

                            ~ Shhhhh~

Many try to shame my fountain, due to my father’s reflection upon my face

My life seems to be a race, spinning around this mist, has I continue

Continue living day by day, with tears of laughter and pain upon my flood

                                ~ Listen~

For none could see the fire I hold deep in my eyes, while I look in the sky

Thanking my thorn, thy only one needing thanks in this world of ours

                              ~ I try to live~

For many will try to continue confusion on their lips on my signature

Classified my water and ambush my clouds

                                   ~ Yes~

I am beautiful, under my eyes and lips, stranger at heart

I’m burning stones and out casting shame

                                ~Soul~ hmmm~

    		               ~Sweet as peaches~

The race I live day by day, continues the fire I breathe, tasting the stars

                                  ~ My soul~

Feels the thorns my enemies’ seem to throw at me, helping me off thy feet

Shooting arrows, fire bombs and rivers, is my poem

                             My poem, is my soul

                             My soul, is my poem

                           But, never a black hole

                              I am my poem

Unique as well as clever !!! Love your take on the theme !! The short break between verses emphasizes without being a distraction !! Excellent !! A joy to read !!
