I AM WHAT I AM
I am to others, what I am not.
Cannot be, what they want.
Myself, a tragedy.
Etched by mortality.
Can explain, my morality.
Surrounded by insanity.
I have never understood, me.
When I was young, my songs were unsung.
My tunes were never romantic.
With tragedy, I share my life.
She was kind, understood my plight.
Gave me much time, to understand mankind.
But I could never agree.
Mankind, is actually unkind.
Learnt, that if you say no, to society.
Disparity is what you meet.
I know not anyone, whose blood is blue
mine is red. Yours and theirs too.
Don't care even if its green.
I am a lucky guy, many splendid reasons to sigh.
I am, in my early sixties, am not sexy, as it sounds.
Weigh 62 kgs. (137 lbs),my waist 35" (289 cm)
My name is not followed, by any credentials.
Just a high school, dropout, trust me.
My experience, has groomed my life.
I have enough hair on my head.
My barber is getting his bread.
My hair is almost totally grey.
My chest is more like breast.
Envy of any twelve year old lass.
Sorry to be so disgusting.
They want me, to give them my brief?
How can I expose myself....? I was just kidding.....!!?
I like to provoke? It’s a serious matter.
Poems after all, are expressions.
I am Ex. Marine Radio Officer/Purser.
I sailed most of the seas, landed in various ports.
Made many friends ashore (F/M),
Have a vast experience, in Human behaviour.
I retired from Sea, years ago.
It was very sentimental for me.
I loved her so, for 18 years,
She was so faithful to me,
I started to write,
just four months ago.
I did not know…, I could...?
I am on line, posting,
Just two months ago.
Hope you got my picture.
I could not frame myself.
Love selfies,but it's only for me.
Hope someday I share one with you.
