I Am
I am
I am that senseless thief.
That has stolen the trust away from a nation
When they talk about me their hearts are sad.
I am that heartless murderer.
That has taken the God given life
They fear not me but my killer name.
I am that brutal rapist.
That has planted disease on which I preyed
Whenever they sleep there are nightmares of me.
I am that selfish fraudster.
That has brought poverty to the life of many
Whenever they see me they count their losses.
I am that merciless car jacker.
That has taken what belongs to you
Whenever they think of me they go into panic.
I am that rootless drug dealer.
That has made a nation of junkies
Whenever they paranoid I come to their relief.
I am that reckless drunk driver.
That has put the lives of many in danger
Whenever they see me it’s already too late.
Today I am a prisoner.
To spend twenty five years in jail
Nobody comes to see me.
But maybe I deserve it
Cause I am a criminal.
Bergville prison
