I Am
I am the spark in a circle of fire
Seasons lay upon me their stream.
A lost balance walking on wire
Fighting with breaths for a risen dream.
I am the glory you are missing
My name is carved on the earth's rock.
I receive the audience clap or their hissing
Hiding my smiles behind the hours of the clock.
I am the train that searches for a stop.
The last drop of rain in the winter's breeze.
I own no country, no lows and no top
As my body is shared between the seven seas.
I am not one of many, yet not many as one.
My hands have chosen to touch this only sky.
For the silence of the moon and the laughter of the sun
I stay safe from the storm, keeping my eyes dry.
