I Am
I am today, what yesterday wrought
what the day brings in, what my soul has bought
the spirit that leaves as the day grows strong
what's left in shadows from yesterday's song
I am right now, what tomorrow brings
without the luster, without the dreams
headstrong tolerance, disposition wasted
from bittersweet memories that I once tasted
