I Am...

I was…

the proud owner of all your free time.
once a state of the art instrument of multiple uses.
a tool of mass communication .
the envy of my peers.
said to have been ahead of my time.
Now covered with ooze,
where did the juice go?
Cracked and considered to be obsolete,
was I not good to you?
Didn’t you enjoy it when we interfaced?
Stripped of all dignity,
my innards lay strewn about for all to see.
What’s to become of me?
My monitor busted,
my speakers blown,
I’ve lost my keys.
Battery failing…
Losing our memory…
