I Am


                                                    I Am 

                           I am matter transformed to human shape
                        Through light energy to the earth`s landscape

                         I `m fed with food procured from divine light
                            That`s the very essence of human plight 

                                 I`m expression of divine energy
                             That transcends the physical synergy

                                   I am not just a body to be fed
                           But much more I need to unearth instead 

                                 I`m part of the divine immensity
                                     And particle of His eternity

                                 I am expression of divine essence
                               A tiny archetype of the quintessence

                               I`m a minute part of the divine light
                         That can be felt but transcends human sight

                               I`m the light lit within my inner self
                                On the virtuous path to lead myself 

                           I`m the light that wishes to oust darkness
                                 And usher in a realm of happiness

                             I`m the light that wishes to goad others 
                                And treat others on level as brothers

                                 I am a body endowed with a heart
                           That with needy folks care likes to impart

                               I am the shining light of divine grace
                           And wish human advancement to embrace

                                   I`m a river of love and emotions
                                That impact on my human condition

                                      I am a vast ocean of feelings
                            With woeful waves that oft send me reeling

                             I`m not just body and feelings, but more
                               And wish to open the mysteries` door

                                 I `m a mind ever thinking who I am
                                As without thinking I`d be but a scam

                                I am a mind that I have grasped to rein
                                 And ever hold under my sway my brain

                                I `m more than body, emotions and mind 
                                       That with sincerity I wish to find

                                 I`m a soul hurled on earth by the divine
                                To cleanse myself through trials over time

                                   I am a grain of sand on the sea shore
                                Knowing not the lives I have lived before

                                       I am a soul seeking liberation 
                                   From the bondage of bodily prison

                                   I`m a tiny part of the divine Whole
                             At last to merge with the Whole is my goal

                                  My dream is to reach His immensity
                                      And fuse in His divine eternity.
